Set up shipping & print a packing label

Settings → Shipping controls what customers pay for delivery. Shipping itself — booking a courier and getting the package moving — is handled by you, outside Forma.

  1. 1

    Add a delivery rate

Set at least one rate — a flat fee (e.g. Rs 200 nationwide) is the simplest place to start. You can add zone-based rates or free-shipping thresholds later as your volume grows.

  2. 2

    Save

Your delivery rate is now shown to customers at checkout immediately.

  3. 3

    Print a packing label

Open any order and use Print packing label. Forma generates an A6 from/ship-to label with the order's address and item list, ready to print and stick on the package — it does not book courier pickup or generate a carrier consignment note (CN/AWB).

  4. 4

    Hand off to your courier

Book pickup or drop off with your courier of choice (TCS, Leopards, PostEx, or any other) the way you normally would — Forma doesn't connect to carrier accounts yet. Update the order to Shipped, then Delivered, as the package moves.

Carrier booking, tracking numbers, and CN/AWB printing are on the roadmap

Today, manual shipping — packing labels printed from Forma, courier booked directly with TCS/Leopards/PostEx, tracking updated by hand — is the standard flow, not a fallback. See Shipping & delivery.
